Chicago Screenwriters Network is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides aspiring screenwriters with the resources, education, and network to see their work complete the journey from script to screen. CSN has also dedicated its organization to utilize its resources to produce one member's script per year.

This volunteer-run organization depends on the generosity of the community to not only accomplish these goals, but also to fund the day-to-day administration and expenses common with a non-profit group. Expenses include, but are not limited to, website maintenance, promotional materials, social networking, meals for guest speakers, maintaining tax-exempt corporate status with the state of Illinois, and general business costs.
