Michael Phillips, film reviewer for the Chicago Tribune, will join us on July 6th to discuss "What makes a good story a great movie -- and what makes a good story a lousy movie!"
It is sure to
be a lively discussion.
Michael Phillips
is the film critic of the Chicago Tribune,
and has had the honor of filling in
for Roger Ebert on the syndicated review
show “At the Movies with Ebert & Roeper.” He has served as theater critic for the Chicago Tribune, the Los Angeles Times, the San Diego Union-Tribune, the St. Paul Pioneer Press and the Dallas Times-Herald. He covered movies for the Twin Cities weekly City Pages and for Minnesota Public Radio, and more recently has appeared on WBEZ-FM’s “Filmspotting.”
