If you have never attended a Table Read before, this is an amazing opportunity for a writer — to hear their words spoken by professional actors. The first 5 pages are critical to catching and maintaining a reader’s attention (especially if your reader is a producer, director, manager or agent). But it’s equally important to hear your words spoken aloud — preferably by professional actors.

“SURVIVING OUTSIDE HOLLYWOOD” WITH PAUL PEDITTO

Paul Peditto and Linda Frothingham will discuss alternative programs for screenwriting success and DIY film-making.

Paul’s credits include Jane Doe, an A-PIX Films release starring Calista Flockhart (Ally McBeal). The film was awarded Best Feature at the New York Independent Film & Video Festival and grossed over 2 million dollars.

Six of his screenplays have been optioned, among them Crossroaders to Haft Entertainment (Emma, Dead Poet?s Society). Recent credits include Additional Dialogue for Roundabout American shot in July 2011, currently making the festival rounds. He also wrote the micro-budget thriller CHAT, scheduled for production in March, 2013.
