to the Oscar telecast on March 7, our regular
meeting has moved up to Sunday, February 28. This
meeting is a special one, too. Heather
E. Ash spent many years as a writers’
and producers’ assistant before getting
hired on the writing staffs of STARGATE SG-1
and GLORY DAYS. Several of her television
scripts have won awards, including the selection
of her original spec pilot SQUARE ONE
for the Writers Guild of America’s Written
By magazine as one of “Five Best Unproduced
Television Pilots.”
She
will address science fiction television writing
and how she approaches one-hour drama.
