Chicago Screenwriters Network (CSN) is a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
Ed BerneroEd Bernero Founded in 1995 by Ed Bernero (‘Criminal Minds,’ ‘Third Watch,’) through messages posted online, then subsequently organized in the flesh by Christiana Miller (‘General Hospital’), CSN has since grown tremendously over the years, now with over five hundred members.

CSN stands as an invaluable resource to Chicago-area screenwriters, filmmakers, producers, directors, and actors. We provide assistance in the creation of works for film, television, video, and web, plus we help individuals present their work to the industry through our annual screenwriting competition. CSN offers its members screenwriting critique and analysis through our script exchange program, networking with film industry peers, a monthly speaker’s program, and a sense of community to members.
