Star Trec Night with writer Jack Treviño at Blue 1647 Innovation Center

May 4th, 6 pm at Blue 1647 (New venue test)

If you are into Star Trek, you should certainly know the name Jack Treviño. Jack was the co-writer of the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine stories ‘Little Green Men’ and ‘Indiscretion’, as well as a third un-produced episode called, ‘Quorum.’ In addition to selling to DS:9, Jack also pitched to Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek Voyager and Star Trek Enterprise.

Jack’s love of Trek brought him to Star Trek: New Voyages where he contributed to Walter Koenig’s episode, ‘To Serve All My Days.’ His involvement with this project led him to co-writing the fan favorite cult film, ‘Star Trek: Of Gods and Men,’ which starred such illustrious Trek stars as Nichelle Nichols, Walter Koenig, Alan Ruck, Tim Russ, Grace Lee Whitney and a host of others.

Jack also co-wrote Starship Farragut’s animated episode, ‘The Needs of the Many,’ which featured the voice talents of Chase Masterson, Tim Russ, Chris Doohan and Vic Mignogna.

The animated adventure led to him co-writing the pilot episode for Vic Mignogna’s Star Trek Continues, ‘Pilgrim of Eternity’ which featured the return of an original Star Trek series guest star, Michael Forest.
